Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, is a celebration of the struggle for liberation in the face of religious persecution. In this time when powerful forces threaten to overwhelm our Unitarian Universalist principles of justice, peace, and human rights for all, we light candles of resistance and hope against acts of domination and oppression.

Join us and socialize before Services

Email your announcements or joys and concerns to include in the service to uuanaheim@gmail.com by Saturday night. On Zoom, please keep your microphone muted during the service to avoid interruption. You will be recognized by the host when it is your time to share. Please be aware that some may be sensitive to perfumes.

We are again hosting our communal potlucks after Sunday worship services. Please contribute a dish if you can.

Dear Fellow UU Anaheim Congregants

Wearing masks at our in-person services and meetings is voluntary, but those who wish to continue wearing masks are free to do so. We also recommend that attendees receive vaccinations for COVID-19, and if you are sick, please stay home. Use the hand sanitizer for everyone's safety. We look forward to seeing you all here, either in person or virtually, however you are most comfortable. We will inform you by email and on our web site if conditions change again.
