September 27: “
The Better Angels of our Nature
Speaker: Tom Owen Towle
Using a phrase from President Abraham Lincoln’s Inaugural Address in 1861, our speaker will also turn to Unitarian Universalism as a religion of “an ever-evolving love” for ground and guidance during this time of a raging pandemic and savage racism. Rev. Dr. Tom Owen-Towle was ordained in 1967 and has served Unitarian Universalist parishes for the past 50 years. He is always honored to return to preach at UUCA.
Worship Associate: Mary Chittenden

October 4: Topic to be announced
Speaker: Ms. Rica Kaufel, M.Div.
We have just contracted with our new minister until at least next Spring.
Worship Associate: Iasu Gorfu

Please email to uuanaheim@gmail.com your joys & concerns or any announcements you'd like to include in the service no later than Saturday night. Please keep your microphone muted during the service to avoid interruption. During the section for joys and concerns, you will have an opportunity to be recognized and selectively un-muted by the host when it is your time to share.

Dear Fellow UU Anaheim Congregants

Due to the unfolding situation regarding the coronavirus, and out of an abundance of caution and care for our members, the Board of Trustees for UUCA has determined that our congregation will not be meeting until further notice. This means that we will not be meeting in discussion groups (the Philosophy Group, Issues Forum, etc) on Sundays. Nor will we be holding any official committee meetings face-to-face. We can still conduct meetings online and via email.

We are taking these actions in order to safeguard everyone from the possibility of contracting and transmitting the coronavirus. We are following recent California State and UUA recommendations.

We hope to resume meeting again for Sunday services and other church functions soon. We will review developments and be in touch regarding this situation, and we look forward to seeing you all again when it is appropriate.

Warmest regards,
Your UUCA Board of Trustees
